As a reminder, our reviews are no longer spoiler-free so Cam and Kirk get down into the details and talk about all things Raya from the start to finish. Is this the next Disney classic to add to the catalog? Or a forgettable one-shot that sells some merchandise and not much else? You’ll have to tune in to hear our full thoughts!

Wednesday Feb 10, 2021
Wednesday Feb 10, 2021
The Golden Globe Nominations are here and we decided to take this opportunity to check a newly-minted Golden Globe Nominated film off of our watchlist! This week, we reviewed Promising Young Woman, starring Carey Mulligan. We have lots of great discussion about this very thought-provoking film while also mixing in our usual brand of nonsense in What’s Poppin’ and Schoolyard Pick. In honor of #NationalPizzaDay, we chose our favorite Pizza Scenes in Schoolyard Pick. And in What’s Poppin’ we breakdown the Globes nominations as well as Tom Holland’s latest sound byte on Spider-Man 3!

Friday Jan 08, 2021
Goodbye (and good riddance) 2020, and hello 2021! We are kicking off the year with a bang by reviewing two huge movies that released over the holidays: Soul and Wonder Woman 1984. In this episode, we also take some time reflecting on what was probably the worst year in the history of film before turning our gaze to 2021. In What’s Poppin’ we tackle the big DC/Michael Keaton news, WandaVision’s impending release, and Netflix’s incredible performance to cap 2020. Finally, we wrap up the show with our Schoolyard Pick of 2021 Films in which Cam ends up playing the role of himself and Kirk thanks to technical difficulties (Darn you, SKYPE!!).
