Superman soars into theaters this Friday, and with it, a new era for DC comics begins on the silver screen. That’s right, Superman is the first feature film in the newly minted DC Universe (DCU) and the expectations could not be higher for Director and Co-CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn. Is Gunn able to apply his signature comic book movie style to a larger-than-life character like Superman? Does relative newcomer David Corenswet have what it takes to don the cape and trunks?
